Terms and Conditions for Peaceful Retreats
TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR WELLNESS RETREAT
Please read the following terms and conditions carefully before booking your wellness retreat. By booking a retreat or participating in any wellness activities, you agree to comply with these terms and conditions.
1. Booking and Payment: The full payment for the retreat must be made by the requested date prior to the start date.. Payments can be made online or through the designated payment methods specified by the wellness retreat organizer.
2. Cancellation and Refunds: If you need to cancel your participation in the retreat, the following cancellation fees will apply: Up to 30 days before the start date: Full refund or booking on a future retreat. Less than 30 days before the start date: No refund will be provided, however, you can book onto a future retreat. A refund will not be provided for any unused portion of the retreat, including missed meals, or activities due to any personal reasons or circumstances.
3. Insurance/Travel Insurance: It is highly recommended that all participants obtain travel insurance to cover any unexpected incidents or emergencies. The wellness retreat organizer is not responsible for any loss, damage, injury, or illness during the retreat, including personal belongings.
4. Health and Medical Considerations: Participants must ensure that they are in good health and physically able to participate in the activities offered during the retreat. It is the participant's responsibility to notify the wellness retreat organizer of any existing medical conditions, allergies, disabilities, or dietary restrictions. The wellness retreat organizer reserves the right to deny participation, without refund, to any participant deemed unfit for the activities due to health or safety concerns.
5. Changes or Cancellations by the Organizer: The wellness retreat organizer reserves the right to make changes to the retreat, including accommodations, activities, itineraries, or facilitators, due to any unforeseen circumstances. In the event of a significant change or cancellation by the organizer, participants will be notified promptly, and alternative arrangements or refunds will be offered if available.
6. Code of Conduct: Participants are expected to behave respectfully towards fellow participants, facilitators, staff, and local communities. Any behavior that disrupts the retreat or compromises the well-being and safety of others may result in immediate dismissal from the retreat without refund.
7. Liability: Participation in all activities during the wellness retreat is at the participant's own risk. The wellness retreat organizer and its representatives shall not be held liable for any loss, damage, injury, or expenses incurred during the retreat.
By booking and participating in the wellness retreat, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to abide by these terms and conditions
WAIVER FOR WELLNESS RETREAT
In consideration of being allowed to participate in the wellness retreat organized by [Wellness Retreat Organizer], I, the undersigned participant, hereby acknowledge and agree to the following terms and conditions:
1. Assumption of Risk: I understand and acknowledge that participating in the wellness retreat activities involves certain risks, including but not limited to physical exertion, potential injury, or unforeseen circumstances beyond the control of the wellness retreat organizer. I voluntarily assume all such risks and release the wellness retreat organizer from any liability or claims arising from my participation in the retreat.
2. Health and Medical Considerations: I hereby certify that I am in good health and physically able to participate in the activities offered during the retreat. I acknowledge that it is my responsibility to consult with a physician regarding any existing medical conditions or concerns. I agree to disclose any medical conditions, allergies, disabilities, or dietary restrictions to the wellness retreat organizer before the start of the retreat.
3. Release of Liability: I hereby release, discharge, and hold harmless the wellness retreat organizer, its agents, employees, facilitators, and any associated entities from any and all claims, demands, actions, or rights of action, whether known or unknown, arising out of any damage, injury, or loss suffered by me during or as a result of participating in the retreat.
4. Insurance/Travel Insurance: I understand and acknowledge that it is my responsibility to obtain comprehensive travel insurance coverage to protect myself against any unforeseen incidents, emergencies, or losses during the retreat. I waive any claims against the wellness retreat organizer for any loss, damage, or injury to personal belongings or any other circumstances not covered by insurance.
5. Code of Conduct: I agree to abide by the code of conduct set by the wellness retreat organizer. I understand that any violation of the code of conduct, disruptive behavior, or compromise of the well-being and safety of others may result in my immediate dismissal from the retreat without refund.
6. Media Release: I grant permission to the wellness retreat organizer to use photographs, videos, or any other media captured during the retreat for promotional purposes without any compensation.
